  • Hey Y’all!!

    I've waited so long to start this business and I feel that the timing in my life is perfect! I feel like this job is a great honor, to be able to capture time, life, and love. I love love. The feeling it gives you, the radiant glow you give off when you're head over heels in it. I love to capture this love whether it be through a marriage, a baby, or picnic in the park. I'm a firm believer that God puts people in your life to better it, and as a photographer, I'm constantly having my life bettered by my clients.

    I have my quirks, to include saying cliches wrong, my slightly crooked smile, my irrational fears of butterflies and automatic doors, and my obsessive love of cupcakes and owls, seriously, ask any friend. But I feel all these quirks make me .... ME. I like to think that I make God laugh at least once a day.

    For all those still searching for that One that God has set aside for you, hold fast and believe, He has a plan, relinquish control and wait for His timing.

    Have no regrets, and laugh at yourself. It's the only way you'll make it through life!

I can’t even pick a favorite! They’re just plain perfect! Congratulations ladies, just when I thought you’d successfully taken over the photography world … you pull these out of your shabby chic hats! Beautiful work! Diana Meredith - Thanks for doing this, Jess! I know you live kinda far from me, but you mentioned maybe coming to Colorado sometime in the next few months (figured I’d take my chances!). I would love to win the photo shoot to have either maternity or newborn photos done. Andrew and I haven’t had any portraits taken since our wedding, so it would be fun to get some nice maternity pictures. Thanks again!

Caroline Taylor - Id love to surprise my husband with a family photo shoot. He’s struggled with his weight for years. In the last 9 months, he has really been disciplined and has lost 35 pounds and gotten very in shape! He has tons of energy now with our 2 girls :) He used to hate taking pictures of himself, but now I know it would make him proud to have some beautiful pictures made of him and his girls. We love him so much and praise the Lord that he’s been able to lose this weight :) your work is beautiful, Jessica! And we’ve really wanted you to take our pictures since we saw Kerry and Hannah’s shoots!!!!

Raven Colvin - I want this photo shoot because my husband and I have lost a lot of weight in the last 12 months. Our family has not seen us since our physical changes. Also neither one of us has had professional pictures taken since our wedding in July 2007. We will be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary this July, so we want to have pictures to look back on many years from now. We also are both about to finish college, so we feel this is a great time to capture the memories of how happy we are now in our successes. I’ve been keeping up with your photo shoots and I have to say that I love love your work! I love the pictures you recently took of Colvin and Cassie. You really know how to capture the mood, and that is what I am looking for in a photographer. My husband I would truly appreciate winning this photo shoot!

Gennell French - I want to win because as you know my dad wants to do a family shoot. The last family pictures we have is when I was just months old. You know of the broken family that I come from and Patrick and I getting married brought along some struggles. We all lived in the same house and barely spoke to one another. Then as Patrick and I moved out it’s as if we became closer. Then April 27 last year turned our world upside down and not knowing for hours if my dad or brother was ok. Now we don’t go a day without speaking to each other. It’s almost as if my family had to completely fall apart before we could fall together. The only family pictures we have is when I was probably 5 or 6 months old and a few from the wedding. Dad is turning 60 in June, and I think he’s just starting to understand how much we all care for each other even though we had a hard time showing it. Please please please pick me so that we have more than just a family pic of me as a baby and one at my wedding :-D

Melissa and her boys!

Melissa is an amazing woman, and an amazing mom!! She loves her boys so much and it shows. They may drive her nuts, but she loves them all the same! This shoot was a favorite of mine … whenever I see the pictures I think to myself “Boys will be boys”. It’s the TRUTH! They were into the mud, the water, throwing rocks, etc. I loved it. I’m a lifestyle photographer. I love to capture people AS THEY ARE, in that exact moment of their life, especially children. They grow and change so quickly, it’s amazing, I never want anybody to forget how their children used to be. Here’s Jacob and Christian with their wonderfully amazing mom!

April Giveaways!!!

Happy April, y’all!!

I can’t believe it’s already April … I always loved this month … for one it’s Peep season!! Haha, they’re probably one of my favorite candies ever and I never see them around besides Easter, so I always stock up! The Armstrong’s.

Meet the Armstrong family!! Jeremy and Amanda got married a few months ago and are about to add family member #4 to the mix!! Everybody’s hoping for a girl … including big brother Karson!! Jeremy is so excited about this baby on the way, it’s the absolute sweetest thing! His face just LIGHTS up when you talk about him/her!! I can’t wait for the baby to get here to see how he interacts with him/her! He’s amazing with Karson!!! And Karson just LOVES him!!!
